AutoMotion Service Plan
The Volkswagen AutoMotion Service Plan does more than cover scheduled vehicle servicing — it helps you maintain a competitive resale value. The optional AutoMotion Service Plan, with a distance limit of up to 180,000km, is available for the whole Volkswagen vehicle range.
AutoMotion Maintenance Plan
The Maintenance Plan not only covers scheduled servicing costs, but also wear and tear items such as wiper blades or brake discs that are traditionally not covered by service plans. What's more, the AutoMotion Maintenance Plan also covers mechanical and electrical faults should they occur within the duration of the plan.
Standard AutoMotion Plans
A 5-year / 90,000 km AutoMotion Service Plan is included as standard on Golf 6, Jetta 6, GTI, Golf R, Touran and Scirocco. The AutoMotion Maintenance Plan is included as a standard 5-year / 60,000 km plan on, Beetle, Tiguan, Kombi and Caravelle. A 5-year / 100,000 km premium AutoMotion Maintenance Plan is included as standard on Passat, Volkswagen CC, Touareg and Eos. This is in addition to the 3-year / 120,000 km manufacturer warranty that is standard on all Volkswagens.
Optional AutoMotion Plans
An Optional Service or Maintenance Automotion Plan can be purchased for vehicles that do not come standard with an Automotion Plan such as the Polo Vivo, Polo and Caddy. The minimum optional plan that can be purchased is a 5 year / 60 000 km plan. The maximum plan that can be purchased is a 5 year / 180 000 km plan.
Automotion Plan Upgrades
Vehicles that come standard with a 5 year / 90 000 km Automotion Plan can be upgraded to a minimum 5 year / 90 000 km maintenance plan up to a 5 year / 180 000 km maintenance plan.
Volkswagen AutoMotion Plan Extensions
Extension's to the AutoMotion Service Plans and AutoMotion Maintenance Plans are available in intervals of 30,000km, to a maximum of 180,000km or five years and can only be purchased for an active Automotion plan. if the vehicle has an active Maintenance Plan, the owner has the choice of purchasing either a service or maintenance plan extension. If however the vehicle has an active Service Plan, the owner can only purchase Service Plan extensions. The 5-year / 100 000 km maintenance plan has an initial kilometre extension of 20 000 km after which the kilometre intervals are 30 000 km until the 180 000km or five year maximum is reached.
